Description
Ligusticum scoticum – Scots lovage. Very hardy and attractive herbaceous perennial usually found in coastal areas. It is very low maintenance and compact reaching about 60cm (2ft) high and about 40cm across. Leaves and stems have a celery/parsley flavour, so a good perennial substitute for use in the kitchen and seeds can be used for seasoning too. Lots of white flowers over the summer which are beneficial for insects. Grow in sun or part shade, plants can also be divided when they are dormant in winter, seeds can be collected when they have turned brown and starting to fall off. *THIS ITEM WILL BE SHIPPED BETWEEN 13 NOV & 15 DECEMBER, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE ON HOLIDAY BY ADDING A NOTE TO YOUR ORDER.*
