A kale from the Cornish village of Egloskerry, near Launceston, thought to be the ancient Cornish perennial kale of Launceston…This one came to us while giving a talk at a village hall in Egloskerry. In the midst of describing perennial kales a lovely gentelman jumped up, dashed off and reappeared with a gnarly clump of this kale. It is similar to a daubenton but with a more compact habit.
