Shipping & Returns
How long will delivery take?
Orders for plants and tubers are usually processed and delivered within 14 -28 days from the date of ordering. Seeds and small bulbils orders are usually processed and delivered within 5-7 days. Pre ordered plants – we will specify delivery dates for these at the time of ordering. If there is exceptional demand, delivery times may take longer, but we will keep you updated by email and also put a message on the home page of our website. Orders are generally sent by Royal Mail and Parcel Force. We always aim to get orders out faster than the above guidelines, you can always email us to ask about the status of your order and we can give you an estimated date. We always send a shipping notification email when your order is on the way. If you have not received an order confirmation email, please do check your spam/junk folder as they sometimes end up in there by mistake. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts/address book to ensure you receive all our communications. Please let us know if there are dates you can’t receive a delivery by adding a note to your order and we will do our best to work around those for you.
Shipping for all items is available throughout the UK. See below for shipping to EU, Northern Ireland and Worldwide.
Mainland UK Delivery
Shipping for seeds is a flat rate of £2.95 in UK.
Shipping for small packs of leek bulbils and other small bulbils is a flat rate of £3.50 in UK.
Shipping for larger bare root onion bulbs and bare root plant divisions £5.95
Shipping for tubers & root offsets is flat rate of £4.95 in UK.
Shipping for perennial kale stem cuttings is £4.95 in UK.
Shipping for all potted plants is a flat rate of £8.00 in UK.
Shipping costs are combined for multiple items so you will only pay shipping for the heaviest item
Note: If buying seeds and plants in the same order you are not charged for seed shipping costs.
Europe (EU) and NI Delivery – WE CAN NO LONGER SHIP TO THE EU AND NORTHERN IRELAND
Because of Brexit and the new rules for importing and exporting plants and seeds each order would have to be inspected and tested at a cost of £150 and as small scale producers this is just not feasible for us. We are truly sorry that we cannot send items, this is out of our hands. We realize how difficult this makes it to source the perennial vegetable plants you are looking for.
We are unable to ship outside of the UK to the rest of the world due to plant health regulations.
We do everything possible to make sure your plants and seeds arrive in good condition and go on to produce healthy plants and tasty vegetables. If you are not happy with your purchase or you have any problem at all, please do tell us right away and we will help to resolve the issue immediately. We value your custom enormously.
We request that customers check their order upon receipt and notify us by email at email@example.com within seven working days if the Goods are faulty or damaged.
Dependent on the situation, we may ask you to return the item to us for an exchange or refund. We will certainly do everything we can to satisfy a customer who experiences a problem.
Authorised returns must be despatch to the address below within 14 days of authorisation.
Please make sure you include a note with your name, address and order number with any return.
Unfortunately we cannot refund your postage costs when you return an item to us unless the item is faulty or damaged.
We recommend that you send your order back to us using a Tracked & Signed service as we cannot be held responsible for any parcel lost during transit to us.
Please note: We do not accept returns or exchanges for our products once they have been planted.
