Norrlands onion

Norrlands Onion, this attractive and tasty allium came to us from Stephen Barstow. It is slow growing and clump forming so can be divided up. According to Stephen it was found in a few old gardens in Northern Sweden, being grown as an ornamental, hence the name. It is a sterile hybrid between Allium nutans and A. angujosum.
