Babington perennial leeks

Babington perennial leek (Allium Ampeloprasum var Babingtonii) at the flowering stage in summer. These have been left to flower so we can collect the bulbils for propagating more plants. They will go dormant for a short while after flowering and re-emerge in the damper conditions of autumn, starting their life cycle all over again.
